The Human Rights Commission released a report in November 2016 looking at the human rights situation of the people remaining living in Canterbury’s residential red zones. This report was the result of surveys and interviews with affected people.
Sally will summarise some of the key findings of the report, including participants’ reasons for staying in their red-zoned properties and their mental health situation.
