South-South Institute on Sexual Violence Against Men and Boys Conference

South-South Institute on Sexual Violence Against Men and Boys.This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from world leaders, researchers, advocates and survivors in sexual abuse and support for men and boys. Never again will this level of knowledge be gathered in New Zealand.

Dates: Monday 6th to Friday 10th November 2017.
Location: Ara Institute of Canterbury (Christchurch).
Cost: $500 for the full 5-day conference or $100 per day per person. A discounted rate for the full conference is available for survivors or not for profit organisations.

A pre-conference workshop "Our Voices: Survivor Only Day" will be held on Sunday 5th November 2017.

This is also an opportunity to have direct input into the outcomes and recommendations that will go to Government and shape our future support for male survivors.

This is the best opporunity in New Zealand to take part in training specifically for practitioners working with 1 in 6 boys impacted by sexual abuse.
