Te Rongo from the Health Promotion Forum: March 2023

Wednesday, March 22, 2023   Posted in: Newsletters By: Administrator With tags: health promotion, newsletter

Kia ora It's hard to believe we're in to Autumn now, where did the time go!? After a rough summer it was great to see Aucklanders enjoying the balmy Autumn weather at the iconic Pasifika Festival, which celebrated its 31st anniversary this year, over the weekend.

It was also World Sleep Day on Friday 17th March, and the theme ‘Sleep is essential for health’ was a timely reminder that just like eating well and exercising, sleep is also vital for good health and wellbeing!

It's your last chance to register and join us for our webishop 'Māori Health Promotion – Developing a prosperous workforce for whānau and whenua’ on Wednesday 22nd March. This webishop is FREE to our members aand will focus on planetary health and the need to embed an environmental health lens on our workforce.

Registration/enrolment is also open for Intake 1 of our Certificate of Achievement in Introducing Health Promotion Level 4 (CoA).

Note: Exclusively for our members we offer space in Te Rongo to advertise job vacancies, courses, webishops and other events in the field of health promotion. Te Rongo is sent out on the 20th of each month, so please let us know at least a week before if you'd like to include a notice. Contact lavinia[at]
