Room available for community group at Phillipstown Community Hub

Wednesday, November 28, 2018   Posted in: Resources and Information By: Administrator With tags: Community development, Community Groups

The Phillipstown Community Centre Charitable Trust is looking expressions of interest from groups that would like to join the Phillipstown Community Hub.

The size of the room at the Hub is 56,50 square metres and it will be available from 1st February 2019. The room has two external doors, windows on two sides and comes with a heat pump, sink, curtains and white board. The successful group will need to provide their own furniture, and Active Board is also available.

The Hub is looking for an amazing and enthusiastic community-focused group that will offer new activities and bring additional positive energy to the Hub.

Send your expression of interest to Viviana (viviana[at]phillipstown.org.nz) by Sunday 13th January 2019, if you are interested in joining the Hub.

Please include the following as part of your expression of interest:

  • A description of your organisation, core values and your vision/mission statement;
  • A description of the activities you run and your target audience;
  • Why you would like to be part of the Phillipstown Community Hub;
  • How you will contribute to the success of the facility and how you would collaborate with other groups using the Hub; and
  • How your activities will contribute to the well-being of the Phillipstown area and involve local residents.

You can also contact Viviana for an information pack about the room or to arrange a viewing (viviana[at]phillipstown.org.nz, 020 406 91419 or 03 595 2023).

Please note that the Hub will be closed from Friday 21st December 2018 to Monday 14th January 2019.
