Waste free workshops with Kate Mead

Kate Meads from Waste Free with Kate and Co is running some upcoming workshops in Christchurch.

The world is not going to stop producing, waste is never going away, and we are never going to get “back” to how it was before.

Waste Free Living

Have you ever wondered what happens to your waste once you put your bag or bin out? Have you noticed the excessively increasing amounts of packaging? Are you recycling right? Come along and Kate will take you on an entertaining yet engaging journey where you will learn about what the problems are and what we can do about it.

This course is perfect for people who don’t know where to start, as well as those who want to learn what they can do.

South New Brighton workshop

Date: Monday 29th August 2022.
Time: 6 to 8pm.
Location: South New Brighton Community Hall (74 Beatty Street).
Cost: $27 per person. Concession tickets ($16.80) are available for those with valid Student, SeniorGold, Community Services or Kiwi Able cards! All attendees will get a goodie bag worth $100.

Waste Free Parenting

Leave your kids on a nicer planet. It's as easy as "Doing 1 Thing".

Come along and be inspired, entertained, and educated. Kate will give you lots of laughs and encouragement and may challenge your thinking when it comes to what you need when you become new parents. A guaranteed fun night out!
