Grow-Your-Own Food mini course from Canterbury Permaculture Institute
The Canterbury Permacutlure Institute is running a 6-day mini course on growing your own food over 3 weekends. You can attend 1, 2 or all 3 weekends.
Dates:
- Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th August 2024: Soil and Water - the foundation of healthy nutritious food;
- Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September 2024: Growing Soil and Food - the how to, tips and techniques and starters to take away; and
- Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September 2024: Integrated Growing Systems - the different growing styles and ways to combine your plantings.
Time: 8.30am to 4.30pm each day.
Location: Climate Action Campus (180 Avonside Drive, Avonside).
Cost: $300 per person per weekend, or $825 for the full course (3 weekends).

Canterbury Permaculture Institute offers education through a range of hands-on sessions, presentations, theory-based learning and site visits.
This is a mini-course set within the Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) and focusing on the growing food aspects of the permaculture course.
