Take part in the Aotearoa Drug Use Motivations Survey
Do you use alcohol, cannabis or other drugs? Then consider taking part in the The Aotearoa Drug Use Motivations Survey that is currently underway!
This study is run by a team at the University of Otago, and is led by Dr Rose Crossin from the Department of Population Health (Christchurch).
The project aims to find out what people who use drugs (including legal drugs like alcohol and nicotine) think motivates drug use. It also aims to compare how different groups of people rate the importance of different motivations.
The online survey is anonymous and should not take more than 15 to 20 minutes to complete. The full information sheet can be seen on the front page of the survey.
To participate, you need to:
- currently live in NZ (and have done so for 1 year or more);
- be aged 18+ years old;
- speak fluent English; and
- have drug use experience (includes alcohol and nicotine) in the past 12 months.
Contribute to the Aotearoa Drug Use Motivations Survey.
