April events at the Richmond Community Garden
All events will be held at the Richmond Community Garden and Riverlution Eco Hub (46A Vogel Street, Richmond) - unless stated otherwise.
Planting and gardening sessions are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 10am to 1pm.
Foraging Walk: Autumn Acorn Extravanganza
Come on down to the Richmond Community Garden for a fun family event to learn about new plants!
This walk will start at the Fungi Farm and explore one of the nearby red zone areas.
Date: Saturday 13th April 2024.
Time: 10am to 12.30pm.
Location: The Fungi Farm (251 River Road, Richmond).
Cost: Koha.

Repair Riverlution
It's time to revolt against throw-away culture! Let's reclaim the things we own and take pride in maintaining and repairing them.
Skilled and professional repair volunteers will be available to help fix your stuff.
Date: Tuesday 16th April 2024.
Time: 5.30 to 7.30pm.
Cost: Koha.

Join this fun and interactive event at the Richmond Community Gardens - with the Shirley Library. Meet your guide at the library van to begin your adventure.
Date: Wednesday 17th April 2024. Rain day Friday 19th April.
Time: 2 to 3pm.

City Nature Challenge: Riverlution roving bio-blitz
Join this guided hīkoi to record as many species as possible from Ōtakaro Orchard to Medbury Bridge. The lunch stop will be at the Richmond Community Gardens at noon.
Date: Friday 26th April 2024.
Start Time: 9am.
Meeting Location: Ōtakaro Orchard (227 Cambridge Terrace, Central City).
