Pressed Flower Workshop
Step into the captivating world of pressing flowers with the expert guidance of well-known flower preservationist Debz Eagle.
This workshop is perfect for all skill levels, from beginners to expert floral artists. Whether you’re just getting started or refining your flower pressing skills, this hands-on experience promises to guide you on your floral pressing journey. All materials provided.
Date: Sunday 15th March 2026.
Time: Noon to 1.30pm. Light refreshments provided.
Location: The Kiosk at the Christchurch Botanic Gardens.
Cost: $85 for CHS members and Friends of the Botanic Gardens. $115 for non-members.

Ikebana Workshop
Explore a fresh, avant-garde approach to this traditional Japanese art form with the Sogetsu School of Ikebana.
This session offers a fresh perspective on working with flowers as a creative, meditative practice - whether you're a beginner or have experience with floristry. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to explore the art of Ikebana, create your own inspiring piece, and take home your very own arrangement in a purpose-designed ceramic dish.
