The Yarns Men: Come and chat with Don Benn
You are invited to the next Yarns Men session with Don Benn. Don was raised in rural Tauranga during a tough time for farming families, so saw both the good parts of farm life and the pressures that shaped family life.
Now a husband, dad of three young adults, and community worker, Don helps dads become better fathers and change the patterns passed down through generations. He co-facilitates Game On - a 6 week course that supports dads to do things differently.
Join this real yarn about fatherhood, growth and doing things differently.
Date: Thursday 7th May 2026.
Time: 6 to 7.30pm.
Location: The Kind Foundation (4 Rolleston Avenue, Central City).
Cost: $22.50 per person - covers food and a drink.
This is an opportunity for men of all walks of life to come together to hear an inspirational guest speaker, get tips for managing your own mental health and supporting others - as well as having a yarn over some food! No pressure. No expectations.
