Workshop on garden composting from Lincoln Envirotown Trust
Compost is one of nature’s best mulches and soil additives, and you can use it instead of commercial fertilisers. Best of all, compost is cheap. You can make it without spending a cent. Compost in your garden improves its soil structure, texture, and aeration, and increases the soil’s water holding capacity. It’s also a great way of getting rid of your kitchen scraps and garden waste.
Join presenters Errol Wood and David Grantham to learn how get started and the options available.
Date: Saturday 2nd August 2025.
Time: 10.30 to 11.30am.
Location: Lincoln Envirotown Community Gardens (35 James Street, Lincoln - behind the former Maternity Hospital).
