Families needed for research into parent and child play
A research team at the University of Canterbury is studying on how different kinds of interruptions (like phones or background noise) impact the way parents and kids play together.
They need parents with children aged 5.5 to 9 years to participate with sessions held on weekends including during the upcoming September/October 2025 school holidays.
This study is an excellent opportunity for families to engage in scientific research and enjoy a fun play session. All participating parents and children will receive a thank-you gift - a grocery voucher for adults and a toy for children!
Find out more about this research into the impacts of interruption on parent and child play, including how to participate.
