Spring is here and gardens are bursting back to life!
Whether you're planting veggies, pruning hedges, or just soaking up the sunshine - your garden is probably generating a bit of organic waste. Not to mention the food scraps from all those seasonal fruits and vegetables.

- Tree branches (up to 100mm thick and shorter than 2.4m)
- Shrub and hedge prunings under 100mm thick
- Leaves
- Grass clippings
- Weeds
- Pea straw, clean hay, straw
- Green vegetative material, i.e. perennials, vegetable plants, annuals, fruits etc.

From the garden:
- Rocks, stones, gravel
- Clay or topsoil
- Flax or cabbage tree leaves
- Bamboo
- Noxious plants or weeds
- Timber, sawdust, ash
- Plant pots

From the kitchen:
- Dairy products
- Fruit
- Fish
- Vegetables
- Meat and bones
- Coffee grinds
- Loose tea leaves

From the kitchen:
- Compostable or biodegradable packaging
- Plastic bags, food wrap, containers
- Cardboard and paper (no pizza boxes, shredded paper, serviettes, paper towels, tissues)
