Stages of Dementia
While every person is unique, the dementia process can exhibit some similarities at different stages along the way. Dr Jackie Broadbent is a Health NZ Geriatrician and will give an overview of the stages of dementia.
Dr Broadbent has over 20 years’ experience providing interdisciplinary care for older people, as well as personal, lived experience as a carer for family members. There will be time at the end for questions.

Adult children and families
Health NZ Psychiatrist of Old Age Dr Matthew Croucher will be leading this webinar about the impact of dementia | mate wareware on family members and whānau. Topics covered include how our roles end up changing and how conflicts can crop up, as well as a word on genetic inheritance and other topics of interest. There will be time at the end for questions.
