The Yarns Men: Come and chat with Bariz Shah
You are invited to the next Yarns Men session with Bariz Shah. Originally from Afghanistan and raised in Auckland after 9/11, Bariz’s journey includes time in prison and a defining turning point.
Following the Christchurch terrorist attacks, he helped establish 51 micro-businesses, co-directed "Project Fiftyone", and wrote "Beyond Hope". Now his mission is with Asturlab - working to build the most spiritually uplifted and impactful community in New Zealand.

Date: Thursday 12th March 2025.
Time: 6 to 7.30pm.
Location: The Hokitika Sandwich Company (129 High Street, Central City).
Cost: $22.50 per person - covers sandwiches (Chicken, French, New Yorker or Veggie) and beer (low, non-alcoholic, cider or 2 soft drinks if preferred).
This is an opportunity for men of all walks of life to come together to hear an inspirational guest speaker, get tips for managing your own mental health and supporting others - as well as having a yarn over some food!
