Renaissance: Reimagining Retirement workshop series
Recently retired, retiring soon, or thinking about it? The transition from work to retirement is a significant change, and one that many of people find challenging.
Join this series of interactive workshops with Chris Beardsley to gain a holistic understanding of the implications of retirement: psychological wellbeing, physical health and wellness, work, recreation and leisure. The expectations of whānau | family and the differing implications for couples and single people will also be covered. You’ll gain a better understanding of the changes that will affect you, identify what matters most in your life, and learn skills to manage the challenges.
Dates:
- Saturday 1st August 2026;
- Mondays from 3rd to 17th August 2026; and
- Saturday 22nd August 2026.
Time: 5.30 to 7.30pm for all sessions.
Location: Christchurch WEA (59 Gloucester Street, Central City).
Cost: $95 per person.
Remember that Community Services Card and Hapai Card holders also receive a discount.
