Workshop: Understanding and Supporting Individuals with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder
This workshop from the Mental Health Education and Resource Centre (MHERC) offers an introduction to Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), focusing on recognition, diagnosis, and tailored support approaches.
Participants will gain insights from Dr Valerie McGinn into how FASD affects the brain and behaviour, develop effective communication strategies, and explore ways to reduce stigma while setting realistic expectations for support.

Time: 9am to noon.
Location: Mental Health Education and Resource Centre (Level 1 at 12 Hazeldean Road, Addington) or online through Zoom.
Cost: $119 per person including GST.
