Thrive 2026 seminar: Chat to thrive
The Thrive Aotearoa Charitable Trust invites people with acquired neurological conditions and their whānau to join this series of inspiring talks. Grant Cowan had a stroke and experiences aphasia. For 8 years, he has had Music Therapy with Kimberley Wade. Together they will share about the power of music to engage neuroplasticity to help him find his voice again.
Date: Monday 4th May 2026.
Time: 10am to noon.
Location: BrainTree Wellness Centre (70 Langdons Road, Papanui).
Cost: $5 per person.
This session speaks to the power of music to reroute brain pathways, support neuroplasticity, and builds confidence and connection. This will be a fun and interactive session, focused on helping you to use music to make connections within yourself and with others.
This series of talks will feature passionate experts with lived experience, showcasing their resilience and success. You will gain valuable tools and strategies to help you thrive.
