Workshop: Don't treat your soil like dirt!
Come along to this workshop to learn the key characteristics of soil, their importance, and how to maintain healthy garden soil. The soil is the foundation of a healthy garden - whether it is a lawn, a vegetable garden or a simple flower garden.
This workshop will be presented by Roger McLenaghen (Senior Tutor in the Soil Science Department at Lincoln University) with assistance from Josie Mazzetto.
Date: Saturday 18th October 2025.
Time: 10.30 to 11.30am.
Location: Lincoln Envirotown Community Gardens (35 James Street, Lincoln).
Cost: FREE. A gold coin donation would be appreciated.
Bring along an ice-cream container of your vegetable garden soil if you would like to have it assessed by Roger.
