Politics made plain: Develop knowledge of NZ politics and government
Another election is on the way later this year, so it's a perfect time to develop our knowledge of New Zealand politics and government! In this five-week course, participants will build on the basics of political philosophy to compare a range of governments around the modern world, as well as study the mechanics of how our own system works.
Dates: Tuesdays from 3rd March 2026.
Time: 12.30 to 2.30pm.
Location: Canterbury WEA (59 Gloucester Street, Central City).

- How did we get to MMP?
- Can MMP tails really get to wag the dog - and what does that mean?
