Sashiko: For the more experienced
This course is designed for those who have completed one of Kazuko Iwai’s beginners Sashiko courses or who have some Sashiko experience but want to take their skills to the next level!
Kazuko will have some more advanced patterns and projects for you to complete, extending your knowledge of this beautiful art form. Cotton fabric, thread and needles will be supplied. Limited to 10 participants.
Date: Wednesdays from 3rd June 2026 (4 sessions).
Time: 1 to 2.30pm.
Cost: $43 per person.

Sewing Basics: Alterations and Pattern Finishing
Got a favourite garment that needs a little tweaking? In this hands-on session with Ruth Targus - The Sewing Fairy, you’ll learn simple clothing alterations, from hemming to fitting adjustments. Bring along items you’d like help with and get practical advice to make them fit better.
Date: Sunday 14th June 2026.
Time: 12.30 to 4pm.
Cost: $29 per person.
