FREE digital accessibility training for community groups
Learn how to make your community content easier for everyone to use at this FREE practical two-day workshop will help you create online information that works well for disabled people, older people, and anyone who finds digital tools hard to use.
Date: Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd April 2026.
Time: 9am to 1pm both days.
Location: Air Force Museum of New Zealand (45 Harvard Avenue, Wigram).
Cost: FREE - thanks to InternetNZ and Spectrum which support digital inclusion across Aotearoa.
You will learn simple, useful skills you can use straight away. Participants will leave these sessions with clear next steps, practical tools, and confidence to implement accessibility beyond immediate content fixes. The focus is on sustainable, real-world application, fostering inclusive practices across the organisation.
The sessions are designed for community and charity organisations, Iwi and Pasifika groups, churches and sports groups and local volunteers of all skill levels. Priority will be given is for people working in NGOs, not for profit and community organisations as places are limited.
