FREE parent workshop: Teaching your teenager to drive
Join a FREE Driver Coach workshop from Road Safety Education if you are teaching (or about to teach) a young person to drive. This workshop aims to equip whānau with the tools they need and support them on this very important journey to support teens to driving safely.
Date: Thursday 7th May 2026.
Time: 5.30 to 7pm.
Location: Multicultural Recreation and Community Centre (455 Hagley Avenue, Central City).
Cost: FREE.
The workshop will:
- Unlock the mysteries of the teenage brain: What makes driving a challenge?
- Decode risk factors for Young Drivers.
- Learn the art of coaching a learner driver.
- Help you support the transition to solo driving.
- Set a plan for collaborating with driving instructors, and much more!
